Brampton Wards 2 & 6
Raghav Patel for City Councillor
My mission is to knock on every door in Wards 2 & 6 in order to connect with every Resident and learn the issues in each neighbourhood. Come and see what your neighbours are saying, and let me know what's missing!

I believe residents deserve election campaigns that are rooted in innovation and hard work by a candidate, not empty promises and marketing. I have been working hard since May and am proud to share with you…
My Campaign Method
1Going Door to Door
I ask everyone I meet if they know any issues or concerns (or anything special or unique) about their street or neighbourhood.
2Entering Notes in the Campaign Living Document
Every night, I take all the comments I received and put them into a public online document ↗ where you can see what your neighbours and other residents in Wards 2 & 6 have said (over 1000 entries already).
3Organizing Comments Into Interactive Maps
Tract Map ↗
Summary of issues, trends, and characteristics of different neighbourhoods (boundaries based off of census tracts).
Street Profile Map ↗
Displays street-specific issues, points of interest, and comments from residents of streets that I have canvassed so far.
Every candidate wants safer streets, lower car insurance, and better healthcare for Brampton. So the real question is, which candidate is going to do the work to ensure the needs of the residents are no longer ignored by all levels of government?
My Platform
My platform is not full of promises I can't keep. Over the next 4 years, my main goal will be to increase connection:
Between Residents and Their City Councillor
To ensure that I know exactly what you need, that we can work together to solve issues, and that you can hold me accountable.
I will do this by:
- Using basic technologies to inform and poll you on what is being voted on at City Council meetings
- Holding Town Hall meetings in the evening (day after Council meetings), so you can learn what happened and ask questions
- Continuing to knock on doors and getting feedback from residents
Between Fellow Residents
To unify and empower the people, so that politicians can't keep ignoring the will of the people.
I will do this by:
- Holding neighbourhood-specific meetings to discuss issues in the area
- Organizing issue-specific meetings, to bring residents and local organizations together to resolve issues they are passionate about
- Planning social events in neighbourhoods
Between Different Levels of Government
To tackle larger issues that require cooperation between levels of government, like car insurance or creating a new hospital.
I will do this by:
- Holding weekly meetings with our local MPP and MP
- Being a strong presence at Queen's Park and Parliament Hill, to create a sense of accountability and urgency about important issues affecting residents in Wards 2 & 6
